Around Santa Monica, good coaches book up before each season, so ask about waiting lists and package rates rather than single lessons. Group clinics are the cheapest way for an adult beginner to get regular court time and a set of practice partners, and many programs across California sort players by NTRP level so matches stay competitive. League sign-ups happen a few weeks before each season through a club or a local USTA captain. Camps and junior academies usually require a short evaluation first; ask about scholarship or sliding-scale spots, which many non-profit tennis associations offer.

Santa Monica is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Santa Monica follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Horrible service. We had been loyal customers for 2+ years and went along with the numerous instructor and time changes. A new instructor recently (Reza) was assigned to us who had one foot out the door from day one and could care less about being a professional (he showed up late one day and would not do the class and said his next class was going to arrive and for me to take it up with the main boss Shauna—she never even returned my call!). Horrible horrible horrible. I will be sure to let all my friends on the westside know what we went through! Avoid!!
